Medical Receptionist ( Spanish Speaking) (Lindenhurst, NY) Job title:
Medical Receptionist Medial receptionist to assist the medical doctor when needed and receptionist at the front desk, scheduling patients , patient intake, insurance verification, and authorization for a multidisciplinary, medical, and physical therapy office.
Working at the front desk with the ability to manage patient volume.
Must project a warm, positive, and professional image in person and on the phone.
Current hours needed:
Monday 3-7, Tuesday 10-7, Thursday 10-7 and Saturday 10-3.
Duties Include:
New patient intake.
Assisting the medical doctor Scheduling patients in EMR medical software.
Making appointments, and confirming appointments by phone calls and in person.
Making doctor's and physical therapist schedules.
Answering phone calls.
Enter patient demographics into software/EMR.
Enter diagnostics and medical reports into the EMR medical software.
Verify insurance eligibility on work comp, NF, and major medical insurances.
Insurance verification Assist the physical therapist when needed.
Spanish speaking, we have Spanish speaking patients.
Experienced.
