Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant - Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus - Assist guests with seating arrangements and accommodate special requests - Answer phone calls and take reservations - Manage the waitlist and notify guests when their table is ready - Maintain a clean and organized host/host station - Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations - Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or complaints Skills:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively - Familiarity with POS systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus - Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Knowledge of proper phone etiquette and professional communication As a host/host, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive dining experience for our guests.
