IT Support Specialist


Receivables Management company is seeking a knowledgeable and well-rounded
IT professional to join our team as an IT Support Specialist. This individual
will serve as a go to technical resource, provide technical assistance to our
employees, manage the office?s ticketing system for day-to-day user support
requests, and provide ongoing support for the company?s IT infrastructure and
all related initiatives.



Roles and Responsibilities:



  • To assist SVP/Director of IT
    for user base of up to 100+ users.

  • Provide support for variety
    of applications and activities, including configuring Active Directory,
    Domain Controllers, Antivirus, TCP/IP, troubleshooting client
    connectivity, resolving printing issues, installing, configuring and troubleshooting
    Windows applications and virtualization.

  • Ability to troubleshoot
    hardware, software and connectivity for mixed OS environment.?

  • Responsible for providing
    effective technical support.

  • As a Help Desk Analyst provide
    response and resolution for trouble calls.

  • Responsible for installing
    connectivity software including VPN, Citrix, etc.

  • Roll out Desktop PCs,
    Laptops, Hardware and Peripherals as needed.

  • Responsible for determining
    & implementing software and hardware resolutions.

  • Responsible for training the
    new staff on PC and Network basics.

  • Perform other duties as
    assigned.




  • You are a dedicated, team-oriented, self-motivated and communicative person.

  • You like to work in a business environment and have good technical and analytical skills.

  • Advocate for data quality with a sharp attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Fluent English, written and spoken. Proficiency in MS Office products including MS Access.

  • VMWare Certification and/or MCSE would be an advantage

  • BS / BE in information systems, computer science, or a related discipline from an accredited institution

  • 2+ years of related experience performing help desk or end-user support functions

  • Hands on experience with Windows OS, server operating systems, troubleshooting hardware, and workstations

  • Ability to thrive and help foster a positive team environment

  • Must have the ability to be ?on call" and work extended or unscheduled hours as needed

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
